Which session should I choose?

Mini for quick portraits, Signature for the best all around choice, and Extended for more variety, outfits, and multiple locations.

Do I need to know how to pose?

No. You are guided through angles, hands, posture, movement, and expression throughout the session.

Are flowers included?

Yes. Hawaiian flowers or floral styling are selected to complement your outfit, colors, and backdrop.

Before Booking

Yes. Flora & Femina is a woman owned and woman operated portrait experience created for women, including solo, maternity, group, graduation, and branding portraits.
Yes. Sessions can be styled for maternity portraits, personal branding, graduation photos, group portraits, birthday portraits, or simply celebrating this season of your life.
The Mini Session is best for a shorter, simple portrait experience. The Signature Session is the best overall choice for most clients. The Extended Session is best if you want more time, more variety, multiple outfits, or more than one location.
The deposit reserves your session date and time and is non refundable. The remaining balance is collected after your session according to the booking terms.
During the booking process, you will answer a few intro questions so we can get to know you, your session, and what you are hoping to capture. After we review your responses, we send you a guide to help discuss flowers, clothing, locations, and the overall direction for your shoot.
Sessions take place outdoors in Honolulu and across Oʻahu. We help choose a location based on light, scenery, crowds, parking, wind, tide conditions, and the overall feeling you want for your portraits.
We help guide outfit color, tone, and styling so your look works with the flowers, location, light, and final editing style. Soft, timeless, feminine colors usually photograph beautifully outdoors.
Yes. Sessions are offered at sunrise or sunset because the light is softer, more flattering, and better suited for outdoor portraits.
Yes. Hawaiian flowers or floral styling are included and chosen to complement your outfit, colors, location, and the mood of the session.
Outdoor sessions depend on weather, wind, and light. If conditions are not ideal, we will communicate with you and help adjust the plan when needed.
That is completely normal. The session is guided from start to finish so you do not have to know what to do. We help with movement, angles, posture, hands, and expression.
Yes. Inspiration photos are welcome. They help us understand the mood, poses, colors, and feeling you are drawn to while still creating something that fits you and the location.
You can bring someone for support if that helps you feel comfortable. If you want them photographed as part of the session, choose the session type that allows enough time and variety.
Mini sessions move quickly and are best for simple portraits. Signature and Extended sessions allow more time to settle in, change poses, use flowers, and create more variety.
After your session, you receive a proofing gallery and choose your favorite images. Those selected images are then edited and delivered through a private online gallery.
Final edited images are typically delivered within two weeks after you select your favorites from the proofing gallery. Many galleries are completed sooner, but two weeks is the general maximum unless a different timeline is discussed with you.
Your final edited portraits are delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images.
Our editing style is bold, sharp, feminine, crisp, and natural. We lean into cooler toned backgrounds while preserving the warmth, color, and complexion of the subject.
Yes. You are welcome to share your final edited images online. Please credit Flora & Femina when posting so others can find the studio.
